WorkFragger

Privacy notice

Accounts are optional. You can use WorkFragger without one, and your times then stay only in your own browser.

What we store if you create an account: your email address, a securely scrambled (hashed) version of your password that we cannot read, your countdown settings (shift times, breaks, holidays, the view you chose and your character), and the dates your account was created and last used. To protect accounts against attacks, we also keep a record of login and password-reset attempts, with the IP address used, for up to 2 days.

Why: to run your account and let you see your settings on any device. Our lawful basis is that this is needed to provide the service you asked for.

Who can see it: only us. Your data is stored on our web host (123-reg) in the UK/EU. We don't sell it or share it, and we don't use it for advertising.

Emails: we only email you when you ask for a password reset.

Cookies: when you log in, we set one essential cookie (wc_session) to keep you logged in for up to 30 days. Logging out removes it. Your countdown settings are also kept in your browser's local storage so the page works without an account.

Your rights: you can delete your account at any time (Account, then Delete account). This removes your email and saved settings straight away. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, by emailing [your contact email]. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
